About This Quote

The book, "After I Was Thrown in the River and Before I Drowned," is a book that tells the story of a young boy who is left alone in a house surrounded by water. The kid is in a hurry to get out, but he struggles to get out of a window in a small house. He climbs over the windowsill and the water rises up below him. He tries to climb down, but he can't make it.

He sees nobody else in the room, so he assumes that his life is over. But then he looks back at his life before he was thrown into the river, and he realizes that it wasn't worth living anyway. So when he gets thrown into the river, all he can do is look forward to death because his life was not worth living anyway.

This is very ironic because this kid was happy before being thrown into the river and happy until he got thrown in the river and unhappy afterwards because he doesn't want to be drowned again.
